After resolving Balgruuf’s family crisis, your adventures in Whiterun are swiftly interrupted by the arrival of a far more immediate threat: a dragon attack on a watchtower outside the city. Together with Alhana, Irileth and a contingent of guards, you must go to the tower and rescue Whiterun from this mysterious beast before it can assault the city.
But beware: Mirmulnir is a powerful dragon who has escaped death for thousands of years. His new and revitalized bossfight will prove a challenge that will test every skill in your arsenal, even with allies at your side. The Western Watchtower is only the beginning of your duel: after fighting you there, the wyrm flies to the city of Whiterun itself to reclaim his ancient domain. To save the city, you'll have to chase Mirmulnir through the streets of Whiterun, leading to a final standoff at the Great Porch of Dragonsreach.
