After retrieving the Dragonstone, you travel to the hold capital of Whiterun to return it to Farengar. When you enter, you discover that Jarl Balgruuf, lord of Whiterun, is unwell. His daughter Dagny, suspecting Farengar's involvement, has both the mage and you--his accomplice--imprisoned.

In a race against time, it's up to you and Alhana to escape the Dragonsreach dungeon, uncover the secrets of Balgruuf's family, and heal the Jarl before the hold falls into chaos. Your quest will take you across Whiterun, working with Farengar and the Jarl's housecarl, Irileth, to discern the truth of Balgruuf's family history.

This quest is an integration of a vanilla Daedric quest, and players should be prepared to face the dark machinations of Mephala, prince of lies, as they work to save Whiterun from shadowy influences. Will you reject the lure of her promises, or accept the power she offers you?

"Ah, you have finally found your way to me. Such an unassuming form, and yet, somehow, you must be consequential..."

I looked up to see a man, hidden in the shadows of the vegetation. He was not like the golden and purpled-skinned beings that I'd just been accosted by. Instead, he appeared to be human. He spoke. "So, what transgression led you to be imprisoned...

Saints and Seducers Feature: Sheogorath's Faithful
I closed my journal after finishing a sketch of a particularly bulbous glowing plant. It was invigorating to catalog so many mysterious creatures and unfamiliar flora; I’d not felt this good since my 3-month stay on Cathnoquey. With my research...
