Your meditation with Paarthurnax is swiftly interrupted by dire news from a winded Alhana: while you were at the mountain’s summit, the Dragon Cult has attacked High Hrothgar and captured the Greybeards. After liberating the monastery, the group must immediately make a plan to track down the Cult’s whereabouts and rescue the monks.

Signs point to the snowy city of Windhelm, where you must search for clues about the cult’s activity. The first lead: Saril Aren, a local mercenary said to have insight into the city’s dark underbelly. Together, the party must follow the Cult’s trail if they are to have any chance of saving the Greybeards.

These clues eventually lead to the discovery of the Dragon Cult’s next gathering: the resurrection of an ancient and powerful dragon, high in the mountains of the Rift, will be the setting for the climax of Extended Cut’s first act. In your quest to infiltrate the gathering and rescue the Greybeards, you may just find that not all is as you thought... and that the dragon crisis may be more significant than anyone could have imagined.

"The dragons were never dead. They dreamt beneath the earth, souls clinging to ancient bones. And now, they wake... to bring fire and death."

I closed my journal after finishing a sketch of a particularly bulbous glowing plant. It was invigorating to catalog so many mysterious creatures and unfamiliar flora; I’d not felt this good since my 3-month stay on Cathnoquey. With my research...
